Golden Aspen Trees.

After realising that I would not be able to make it back down the Humphreys Trail before night fall in the San Fransisco mountain range outside of Flagstaff, I hiked back down to the Aspen Trail. This was only a short trail looping around a grove of Aspen Trees and what a spectacular trail this was! Just like you seeing this image which gives a feeling of calm, just imagine being inside this grove with the sound of a light breeze and rustling leaves. The low sunlight and the fall colours from the Aspen trees brightened the woodland floor creating an ocean of gold from the fallen leaves.
